Last night, mummy was debating with daddy about SG opening up a Formula 1 racing track just like the one in KL. Daddy was very pessimistic about it. Mummy, voiced out her opinion, which was quite interesting. She pointed out that SG is thinking of opening a track because to 'reduce' motorists accidents. Like we all know, these guys will ride up all the way to KL just to try the track there. Thus, sometimes their fate ended up quite tragic. SG government is just now 'envisioning' of making a track. Like always, they are now gathering 'opinions' of the public. But I got a strong feeling, that they will still build it no matter what the outcome of the public opinion.
Like building the casino, public and the ministers were concerned the effects of building a casino. Surprisingly, there were quite a handful of individuals who came forward with their life stories about how gambling can destroy their family and so on.
Well, the race won't destroy a family, but somehow it will raise up the standard of living in SG. With GST hike, sure petrol will go up, and so many other things will go up. So I said out loud, 'Huh, I wouldn't appreciate the government making a race track, it will just make life difficult! MRT fare will go up lah! Kannasai!' Dad, 'Good that you realise!'

I don't think its a necessity for the government to make such an expensive track just to host an international event which happen only once a year. Yes, it will boost the tourism industry but the fact that it will effect our standard and cost of living. So, if this really going to happen, then the government wouldn't be expecting baby boom to be a BOOM!
And also expect, more ang-mohs will come to SG for holiday and more sarong party girls will wear colourful sarongs with lycra thongs!
Well, we just see what will happen!
Well, we just see what will happen!
